“Provide affordable, educational, and outdoor recreational activities in a safe, clean, and inviting environment for youth, paired with mentors who are dedicated to developing the social, mental, and spiritual, aspects of each child. Self – esteem, conflict resolution, social skill development, and continuing education is emphasized.”

BATHSHEBA IS A PASSION DRIVEN VISIONARY, PHILANTHROPIST, AND PROVEN LEADER. SHE DEMONSTRATES THE UNSHAKABLE FAITH, AND VALUES OF TRADITIONAL AFRICAN AMERICAN FAMILY, COMMUNITY, AND CULTURES.

Bathsheba Brown Executive Director and Founder of Heavy Hearts Youth Mentoring Programs has been a service to the community for over 20 years. She has worked as a Camp Counselor, Community Activist and Innovator, Motivational Speaker, Choreographer/Dancer, Mentor, Consultant and Financial Adviser. Most recently she has held the titles of Partner and Business Consultant, CEO of B Black Diamonds, CEO of Heavy Entertainment and Heavy Magazine, Event Specialist, and Founder/ Director of Heavy Hearts. Her goal is to inspire the community to unite, and build by teaching values, and moralistic behaviors. Leading by example, she shares her experiences with every opportunity to give and teach the principles of public service.
